On Thursday, July 8, 2010 ULI Colorado hosted a YLG Discovery Series focusing on Emerging Neighborhoods. The program featured keynote presenters Peter Park, Director of Planning, City & County of Denver, and Mickey Zeppelin, founder of Zeppelin Development. After the presentations, the group (with over 100 attendees) was transported via light rail to the Evans Station where they were given a presentation on the River North Comprehensive Plan and a walking tour of Jon Cook’s parcel along South Broadway. The day concluded with a behind-the-scenes tour of Zocalo Community Development’s newest project Solera and a catered reception.
